What is this product used for

Bio Spot Carpet Powder contains Nylar insect growth regulator and is used on carpets to kill fleas and ticks. Bio Spot Carpet Powder has a fresh, pleasant citrus scent and kills all stages of the flea life cycle. Each container treats up to 400 square feet and protects for up to 12 months.

Bio Spot Carpet Powder is a non-prescription (OTC) product.

How this product should be used

Shake well before using. One 16-ounce canister contains enough powder to treat 1 to 2 rooms (200-400 square feet). When using this product at the lower rate, allow the powder to remain in place for 24 hours before vacuuming. Apply powder more heavily to areas of flooring on which pets spend most of their time. Apply to dry surfaces only. Do not wet powder. For carpets; shake the powder evenly across surface. Brush lightly with broom to force powder deep into carpet where fleas and their larvae exist. Wait at least 60 minutes before lightly vacuuming to remove visible surface powder.

This product can be hazardous to humans and domestic animals. Bio Spot Carpet Powder may cause moderate eye irritation.

What special precautions are there

Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling powder and before eating or smoking. Do not contaminate feed, water or foodstuffs. Do not apply to food processing surfaces or use in food processing areas where food is exposed. Cover fish aquariums prior to use. Keep children and pets off treated carpet during treatment and while powder is still visible on its surface.

Store this product in a cool dry place. Store in the original container. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
