What is this product used for

Allermyl shampoo is a unique foaming micro-emulsion formulated for the management of allergic skin conditions in dogs and cats. It relieves irritation and itching, has a beneficial effect on damaged skin, and cleanses the epidermis. It is specially formulated to meet the needs of dogs and cats with allergic skin disease, by combining ingredients that help maintain skin integrity and natural balance.

Allermyl Shampoo is a non-prescription (OTC) product.

How this product should be used

Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water, invert bottle and apply a thin line of shampoo from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Massage into the wet hair coat and lather well. Allow lather to remain on the hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. Use this product 2 or 3 times a week for 2 weeks or as directed by the veterinarian.

What are the side effects

If skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.

What special precautions are there

This product is for veterinary use only. Keep out of the eyes. If product gets in the eyes rinse well with clear water. Do not use in the ears. Wash hands after using.

In the event of overdose

Contact a veterinarian or veterinary emergency room if product is swallowed.

How should I store this product

Store at room temperature. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
